Dhariva Daily ("Dhariva," "we," "us," or "our") is provided by Mobirova. This policy explains what information the app handles, why it is used, and what choices you have.
The app and accounts
Dhariva Daily provides Bhagavad Gita shlokas and meanings, Divine Guidance, and devotional wallpapers. You do not need to create an account or provide your name or email to use the app.
The current app version does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
Information handled by the app
- Anonymous app installation ID: The app generates a random ID and stores it on your device. It sends this ID with requests to our API so we can limit excessive requests and protect service reliability. This is an app-generated identifier; it is not your name or a hardware identifier.
- Content requests: When you request content, the app sends information needed to provide it, such as the selected mood and content source. Our API stores request counts and timestamps associated with the installation ID for rate limiting.
- Reports you choose to submit: If you report a content issue, the app sends the content type and reference, selected language, reason, any notes you enter, and the report time. Reports are stored so Mobirova can review them. Please do not include sensitive or unnecessary personal information in report notes.
- Preferences and favorites: Your selected mood and language, favorite moods, and liked content are stored on your device. They are not uploaded as a user profile. Device backup settings may affect whether local app data is included in a backup.
- Technical connection data: When your device connects to our API, the API host and network providers may process technical data such as your IP address, request time, and connection details to deliver and secure the service.
- Fonts: The app uses Google Fonts. Google’s font service may receive a request and related technical connection data when font resources are retrieved. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Google Privacy Policy
Device permissions and wallpaper
The app needs internet access to retrieve online content. If you choose to set a deity image as your home screen wallpaper, the app uses Android’s wallpaper feature to apply it. The generated wallpaper image is temporarily written to app storage for this operation. The app does not upload your personal photos or wallpaper image to our API.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide shlokas, guidance, and wallpaper content
- Apply API request limits and protect service reliability
- Review reports and correct content issues
- Operate and secure the app and API
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. The API and its database are operated for Mobirova. Hosting, database, and network providers may process technical information as needed to provide these services. Google Fonts may process connection data when font resources are retrieved. When you follow a store link, the relevant app store handles your visit under its own privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Preferences and favorites are stored on your device. You can remove them by clearing the app’s storage. Device backups may retain app data according to your device settings.
The API currently has no automatic expiry configured for request-counter records or submitted reports. These records may therefore remain in the database until Mobirova manually deletes them. Hosting providers may retain technical logs according to their own settings.
To ask about or request deletion of a report or other information, email admin@mobirova.com. Include enough detail for us to locate the relevant record, such as the approximate report date and content reference. Do not include sensitive information in your request.
Security
The app communicates with the API over HTTPS. Mobirova uses safeguards intended to protect information handled by the service, though no method of internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children’s privacy
Dhariva Daily does not require users to provide personal information to use the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to Mobirova through a report, contact admin@mobirova.com so we can review it.
Privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact admin@mobirova.com to make a request. You may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The current version will be published at the privacy policy URL linked from the app and its store listing. The effective date above will be updated when the policy changes.
